The way to take taste and culinary creations to the next level. That’s the Gemspoon. Interior architect Dirk Vrints and Jewel designer Jo Den Haerynck decided to create the Gemspoon to slow down the process of the appetiser that usually disappears immediately from the dish to the mouth.

“The chef’s greatest enemy is time.”

These are the words of Executive Michelin Chef @fabricerosso. At his level, perfection takes
hours, but consumption takes seconds. This collaboration is about his personal mission to win
that battle against time.

Working with the visionary duo at @gemspoonantwerpen, Chef Fabrice found a way to bridge the
gap between a fleeting taste and a permanent memory.

The Ritual of Revelation: Born from the fusion of Interior Architecture and Jewelry Design, the
Gemspoon acts as a “hand jewel”—a sensory stage for the first bite. But it was the Chef’s own
curiosity that added the ultimate secret: hidden beneath the flavor, he conceived the idea to
engrave the guest’s own initials into the silver bed.

The result? The flavor becomes a memory, but the memory is yours to keep.
“At IDAM the experience is personal. My hand to yours. The first bite is a surprise, but the empty
spoon reveals the secret.
I don’t serve dinner. I design moments. ” – Chef Fabrice Rosso
